Destiny Devooght

Destiny DeVooght is a news reporter at Courthouse News Service since September 2024 and has been a freelance writer for Milwaukee Magazine since January 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a news editor and writer for The UWM Post, Inc. and working as a multimedia journalist for Media Milwaukee, where coursework in Integrated Reporting contributed to professional development. Destiny’s experience also encompasses social media management for the UWM Journalism Department and content creation for the university's Letters & Science Instagram page. An early career included roles as a shift lead in a coffee shop and front-of-house staff at IAN'S PIZZA MKE, INC. Destiny holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where studies focused on advertising and media.
