Monica Meyer

Monica Meyer currently serves as the Vice President of Advancement at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra since February 2023. Prior to this role, Monica held various positions at the Virginia Symphony Orchestra from 2014 to February 2023, including Interim Executive Director and Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. Monica participated in the League of American Orchestras' Emerging Leaders Program in 2019, designed to develop high-potential orchestra professionals. From 2007 to 2014, Monica worked at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in roles such as Assistant Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager. Additionally, Monica served as an Associate Professor at the University of Phoenix from 2017 to 2019, focusing on undergraduate and graduate marketing courses. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Market Development from Waynesburg University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance, along with degrees in Business Administration and Arts Administration from West Virginia University, with ongoing studies at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
