Swetha Srikanthan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of computer science and machine learning. Swetha is currently working as a Research Scientist II, AI at MIM Software Inc., where they focus on algorithms research and development for imaging solutions in various medical fields. Prior to this, they worked at Case Western Reserve University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for computer science courses, where they were responsible for grading and providing feedback to students. Swetha also worked as a Graduate Research Student in the EECS Machine Learning Laboratory, where they analyzed and developed optimized algorithms for large-scale synthetic data. Additionally, Swetha served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for machine learning and software engineering courses, and also worked as a Database Assistant at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Swetha has also gained industry experience as an intern at MIM Software Inc., where they developed a deep learning model for localizing and classifying clinically significant lesions in prostate MRI images, and at Innovative Systems, Inc., where they researched and developed multilingual string similarity algorithms for an anti-money laundering application.
Swetha Srikanthan completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy from 2012 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Case Western Reserve University from 2017 to 2019.
