Akeem Brown

Akeem Brown is a Senior Software Engineer currently employed at Mimecast since January 2023. Prior to this role, Akeem served as a Senior Software Engineer II at Sophos from August 2017 to December 2022, playing a pivotal role in the development of flagship products within the Sophos Central platform, overseeing projects from inception to release in collaboration with UX and Product Management teams. Akeem also gained experience as a Front-End Developer intern at StashMetrics in early 2016, where Akeem led a significant overhaul of the customer console using AngularJS, and as an Agile Tester intern at NDL Software Limited, responsible for creating and executing test plans within an agile environment. Akeem holds a BEng in Computer Science from the University of York, completed in 2017, along with earlier education at King Edward VI School and Great Barr School.
