Ariana N. Renrick, PhD, currently serves as a Research Scientist I at MiMedx since May 2024. Prior to this role, Ariana was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine from April 2021 to April 2024, focusing on the efficacy of anti-CD47 and anti-SIRPa monoclonal antibodies in treating primary multiple myeloma. Ariana has also participated in events such as the Janssen Oncology Day in September 2021 and completed a Health Policy Scholars Certification Program at Meharry Medical College, where coursework included critical topics in health policy and social determinants of health. As a PhD graduate student in Biomedical Sciences, Ariana conducted research on the role of bortezomib in CD8+ T cell function, alongside serving as a Teaching Assistant in Immunology. Additionally, Ariana contributed to community outreach as a Truth Initiative Community Outreach Leader aimed at promoting tobacco-free lifestyles and was involved in advocating for Meharry Medical College to become a smoke-free campus.
