Billy Lloyd

Billy Lloyd has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Billy began their career at Encelle Inc in 1998 as a Research Associate and later moved up to the position of Research Scientist, where they stayed until 2007. Billy then joined Pioneer Surgical Technology as a Project Manager and worked there until 2013. After that, they joined RTI Surgical® and held various roles including Quality Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and eventually became the Plant Manager in 2018. In 2019, they transitioned to MiMedx as the Director of Technology Transfer and later became the Vice President of Technology Transfer in 2023.

Billy Lloyd attended East Carolina University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cell Biology and Anatomy. Billy then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology from the same institution. In addition to their degrees, Billy also holds certifications in CTBS from the American Association of Tissue Banks and Lean Manufacturing from the University of Michigan.
