Stephen Aikman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Stephen began their career as a Group Sales Manager for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club in 1993. In 1995, they joined RBC where they held several leadership roles over a span of 25 years, including Vice President, Head of Commercial Strategy and Community Manager. Stephen also served as the Senior Director of Communications and Change Management for Commercial and Small Business in Canada. Additionally, they were the Regional Vice President for RBC Insurance and the National Director of Commercial, Head of Commercial Retail, Supply Chain, and Not For Profit.
In 2013, Aikman founded All Natural Advice, the leading organic skincare company in Canada. Stephen successfully grew the brand globally, expanding into 12 countries. After merging with a North American public company, they contributed over $10 million in market cap to their organization.
Aikman is currently the Founding Owner of All Natural Advice Skin Care and the Vice President of Mimi's Rock Corp. Within Mimi's Rock Corp, they took the company public on the TSXV and oversaw its sale for $27 million in 2023. Stephen played a key role in expanding the company's global reach, resulting in it becoming the top-ranked brand in Canada.
Stephen Aikman also serves on the Board of Directors for ADAPT - Halton Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Assessment, Prevention and Treatment, and Mohawk College.
Stephen Aikman's education history is as follows:
From 1990 to 1993, they attended Mohawk College and earned a 3-year Business Administration Diploma with a focus on Marketing.
In 1993, they enrolled at Brock University and completed an Hon BBA in Finance, which took him until 1995.
In 1996, Stephen pursued further education at the Institute of Canadian Bankers, where they obtained certifications as a Personal Financial Planner (PFP) and Branch Compliance Office (BCO). Stephen continued their studies at this institution until 2011.
In 1997, they also attended the Canadian Security Institute, where they received a Mutual Fund License (IFIC).
Lastly, Stephen pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) at Dalhousie University, specializing in Financial Services. Stephen began this program in 2005 and completed it in 2011.
