Paulo de Oliveira

Paulo de Oliveira has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and localization. Paulo started their career at IBM, where they managed localization projects in Brazil and Germany. Paulo then worked at Lernout & Hauspie as the Project Management Lead & Director of Operations, overseeing a team of project managers and localization engineers. After that, Paulo joined the University of Washington as an instructor for a software localization extension course. Paulo then moved on to Microsoft, where they served as a Senior Localization Project Manager Lead, leading a team of professionals in enhancing the quality of products through localization. Paulo also worked at California State University, Fullerton as a Professor of Software Engineering. Currently, they are the Sr Director of Software Engineering at MIND Research Institute, where they are responsible for driving internationalization efforts and overseeing localization aspects of the product.
