Maria Barredo

Maria Barredo is a health manager with extensive experience in primary, intermediate, and acute health care. Maria has substantial experience in managing community services and clinical programs, human resources, data systems, policy development, business planning, strategy and evaluation, as well as achieving outcomes within budget.

Maria is the Regional Manager of the Aboriginal Health Service in the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and has a strong interest in facilitating development, implementation, and evaluation of organisational systems through strong leadership.

A Justice of the Peace, Maria is also a Registered Nurse and a Certified Health Manager and an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management; a member of the Australian Institute of Company Director; a Fellow of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation (2008), and; has held numerous board and chair positions within health and multicultural bodies.
