Mekhala C.

Mekhala C. is an experienced social worker currently employed at St. Michael's Hospital in the Ambulatory Mental Health department since January 2019, while also serving as a practice-based researcher at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. In addition, Mekhala C. is an eTherapist at MindBeacon since February 2021 and has held various roles, including crisis counsellor at LifeWorks and teaching assistant at the University of Toronto. Previous experience includes internships in inpatient psychiatry and counselling services at St. Michael's Hospital and Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre, respectively. Mekhala C. has also contributed to research as an operations manager at Ryerson University’s Biopsychosocial Medicine Lab.
