Taylor S. has worked in various roles since 2010. In 2010, Taylor was an Intern for the Humboldt County Independent Business Alliance (HumIBA) where they recruited local businesses to HumIBA, helped develop the phone directory, and organized the annual mixer for local business owners. In 2013, Taylor worked as a Therapeutic Teaching Assistant for Sheffield Place, a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness, where they planned and carried out after-school programming for children ages 2 - 15. From 2016 to 2018, Taylor worked as an Occupational Therapist for Infinity Rehab and Healthy Living Network, performing occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and discharges in a home health setting, and supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. In 2016, Taylor also worked as an Occupational Therapy Fieldwork II Student for The Mission Project and Villa St. Francis, planning and implementing community-based interventions and carrying out occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, home assessments, and discharges. Currently, Taylor works as a Guide and Integration Coach for Mindbloom, where they guide clients in safe self-administration of ketamine for treating mental illness, and provide coaching for integrating experiences, meeting personal goals, and establishing healthy habits.

Taylor S. earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin between 2003 and 2007. Taylor then went on to obtain a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Geography from the University of Leeds between 2010 and 2011. Finally, they completed a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from Rockhurst University between 2014 and 2016.
