Edgar I. Hernandez

Edgar I. Hernandez, MD, FAPA, serves as the Regional Medical Director at Mindful Health Solutions since January 2024, directing operations and ensuring service quality across Texas and Georgia while focusing on innovative mental health care. Previously, Edgar held roles such as Clinical Lead for Public Relations and Chief Psychiatrist at Talkiatry, where duties included enhancing public awareness and overseeing over 30 physicians. Edgar's experience also includes positions at Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, emphasizing quality metrics and education for psychiatric residents, as well as expertise in interventional psychiatry, particularly in applied neuroscience. Edgar completed medical education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, with additional fellowship training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation from Duke University School of Medicine and an undergraduate degree in Biology from St. Mary's University.
