Ulysse Mizrahi

Ulysse Mizrahi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Ulysse started their career in 2009 with a civic service role in Education Nationale, where they tutored struggling students and organized various activities.

In 2013, Ulysse joined Nextperf (now Rakuten Marketing) as a Data Scientist, where they developed machine learning algorithms for click-through and conversion rate prediction, user engagement, and segmentation. Ulysse also worked on the migration of the CTR modeling to Apache Spark.

From 2014 to 2016, Ulysse served as the Head of Data Science at Nextperf. Ulysse led the Data Science team and continued improving and overhauling the algorithmic platform. Ulysse also implemented a predictive model for user conversions, enabling the implementation of a stable CPA/ROI business model.

In 2016, Ulysse joined Dataiku as an R&D Engineer, focusing on full-stack software engineering. Ulysse worked on developing the machine learning capabilities of Datataiku DSS, particularly in distributed ML, model visualization, and advanced scoring.

From 2017 to 2018, Ulysse served as the CTO of Fitle, where they played a crucial role in the development and improvement of the platform. Ulysse led the platform rearchitecture, rewrote various components using React and React Native for better maintainability and device support, and implemented a full analytics pipeline and dashboard using Apache Spark.

Ulysse then joined Upflow in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer & Product, contributing to the company's software development and product activities.

Their most recent role was as the Founder & CTO of Mindmesh (YC S21), which they started in 2020.

Throughout their career, Ulysse has demonstrated proficiency in various programming languages and technologies such as Python, React, React Native, Apache Spark, MySQL, and Redis. Ulysse has also shown strong leadership skills, managing development teams and leading data science activities.

Ulysse Mizrahi completed a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they also obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from École Polytechnique from 2009 to 2013.
