Monika Russell

Monika Russell is an experienced financial executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Minehub Technologies since May 2024. Prior to this role, Monika held the same title at Spud from February 2022 to May 2024 and at Nanotech from February 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included Acting Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance. Previous experience also includes the position of Director of Accounting & Control for Western Canada at Norbord from April 2015 to June 2017, following the merger with Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd., where Monika served in various financial roles including Controller & Corporate Secretary from December 2005 to March 2015. Monika began the professional career at Grant Thornton LLP (Canada) as a Senior Staff Accountant from 2001 to 2005. Educationally, Monika is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2004.
