Miguel Garcia Matos

Miguel Garcia Matos is an experienced metallurgist with a robust background in the mining and metallurgical field. Currently employed at Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. since October 2016, Miguel holds the position of Metallurgist Technical, focusing on operational parameters in milling circuits and leading internal sampling and characterization plans. Prior experience includes roles as a Metallurgical Laboratory Technician and Professional Intern at the same company, where Miguel conducted various flotation tests and analysis related to geometallurgy. Additional experience includes work as a Metallurgist Technician at FLSmidth and a Metallurgical Laboratory Technician at EMEMSA, along with earlier roles as an Operator Metallurgist and a practicum at UNCP. Miguel holds a bachelor's degree and a professional title in Metallurgical Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú, along with ongoing postgraduate studies in Geometallurgy at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
