Andrew Stewart has a long and accomplished career in research and development. Andrew began their career in 1999 at Harvard Medical School as a Wellcome Trust International Prize Research Fellow. In 2002, they moved to the University of Oxford as a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow. In 2003, they joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as an Instructor of Medicine. In 2005, they became an International Visiting Research Fellow at Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, where they investigated the role of the CFTR Cl- channel and various membrane transporters in pancreatic function. In 2011, they joined Minerva Biotechnologies as Head of Research and Development, and subsequently held the roles of Senior Project Manager and Senior Scientist.
Andrew Stewart completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Glasgow from 1990 to 1994, where they received a BSc. First class in Physiology. Andrew then went on to pursue a D.Phil from the University of Oxford from 1995 to 1998 in Physiology.
