Vicki Chandler is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as Provost Emerita and Senior Advisor to the Provost and President at Minerva University, Chandler played a pivotal role in the institution's transition from Minerva Schools at Keck Graduate Institute, receiving independent accreditation in June 2021. Prior to this, Chandler was a Regent's Professor, Emerita at the University of Arizona and held the role of Provost at both Minerva Schools at KGI and Minerva University. Chandler's career also includes serving as Dean of Natural Sciences at Minerva Schools at KGI and Chief Program Officer for Science at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Chandler earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BA in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
