Jane Gunn

Jane Gunn is a distinguished academic and healthcare leader currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and Professor at the University of Melbourne since 2005. In addition to these roles, Jane holds the position of Chair of Primary Care Research and has served as Deputy Dean. Jane's previous experience includes a tenure as a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Health & Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow from January 2014 to June 2023, as well as Chair of the Board of Directors at Northern Melbourne Medicare Local from August 2011 to September 2015. Jane holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), both from the University of Melbourne.
