Curriculum Developer at Minerva Project

Sarah Clancy, M.Ed., M.S. has a wealth of work experience. Sarah began their career in 2005 as the Director of Campus Ministries at Santa Fe Catholic High School. In 2009, they moved to International Academy Okma as an International Baccalaureate Middle Years/Diploma Programme Language and Literature teacher. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Manager of Catholic Heart Work Camp in Bluffron, SC, Detroit, MI, and Puerto Rico Camp. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at International Academy High School as the MYP & DP Service Learning Coordinator. In 2021, they began working at Harvard University as a Graduate Admissions Reader. Additionally, they have been working at Minerva Project since 2020 as a Curriculum Developer and at Laurel Springs School since 2020 in various roles, including Student Engagement Manager, Academic Engagement Coordinator, and Innovation Program Coordinator, where they are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing synchronous learning opportunities for online K-12 students, supporting teachers in their pursuit of online learning best practices, creating and implementing professional development opportunities for the innovation initiatives, and leading educational and social engagements online in a variety of platforms.

Sarah Clancy, M.Ed., M.S. has an extensive education history. Sarah began their studies in 1997, receiving an IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate in 2001. Sarah then attended Kalamazoo College, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English, German, and Secondary Education. In 2003, they spent a year abroad at University of Nairboi studying culture. In 2007, they earned their Master's of Education from Florida Southern College in Curriculum (teaching and learning). In 2018, they earned their Master of Science - MS from the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Graduate School in Restorative Practices. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the International Institute of Restorative Practices for Introduction to Restorative Practices & Facilitating Circles Trainer in October 2019, and from the State department of education for Secondary Education, English and German, State of Michigan, New York 7-12.
