Sara Veltkamp is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic thinking and execution across various sectors. Currently serving as Partner and Vice President at Minerva Strategies since November 2013, Sara specializes in content strategy, multichannel communication planning, branding, media relations, and crisis communication. Prior to this role, Sara worked as a Senior Associate and Communication Fellow at Global Washington, focusing on policy communication and editing content for newsletters and reports. With earlier experience as Operations Intern at the Council on American Islamic Relations and a Consultant for BIDAYA, Sara has demonstrated strong project management and donor communication skills. Educationally, Sara holds an MA in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia and a BA in Linguistics from the University of Washington, complemented by a Project Management Certification from North Seattle Community College.
