Ricardo Paredes

Ricardo Paredes has a diverse range of work experience in fields such as mining, technology, and consulting. Ricardo is currently working as a Regional Account Manager at MineSense Technologies Ltd. Their previous role was as a Senior Proposal Manager at Relix S.A. from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they held various positions at Yamana Gold Inc., including Projects Superintendent at Minera Florida Ltda. and Florida's Projects Controller. Ricardo also worked as a Jeronimo Project Coordinator at Yamana Gold Inc. and as a Mining Industry's Senior Consultant and New Business Development at Cerro Azul Ltda. Before entering the mining industry, Ricardo worked at IBM de Chile as a Client Representative Business Partner and a Senior Consultant in Logistic and Technology. Ricardo also worked at IBM as a Senior Strategic Financial Analyst and a Financial Analyst, Pricer, and Planner. Prior to their time at IBM, they co-founded Humberstone Business Consultants. Ricardo began their career as an intern at Wal Mart Corporation and later worked as a Planning and Operations Engineer at Yolanda Mining Company. Overall, Ricardo has accumulated extensive experience in project management, proposal development, business consulting, and financial analysis.

Ricardo Paredes has a diverse education history. In 1980, they attended Liceo Rafel Sototomayor de Las Condes. From 1979 to 1984, they studied at Colegio Deseret for primary education. Later, in 1986 to 1987, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering at the University of Santiago. Then, from 1990 to 1995, they continued their education at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, earning a degree in Ingeniería with a focus on Minas (Mining Engineering).

In 1999, Ricardo attended Brigham Young University, where they obtained an MBA with a specialization in Finances and Supply Chain Management. Furthermore, they pursued further education in project management, completing a preparation course for Certification on the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2018.

To supplement their qualifications, Ricardo also obtained the SAP Material Management Certificated Consultant certification from SAP in August 2009.
