Fábio Alves

Fábio Alves has extensive work experience in the software development and consulting fields. Fábio worked at Miniclip as a Software Developer from March 2020 to present, and previously held the role of Junior Software Developer from March 2018 to February 2020. Prior to that, Fábio worked at Deloitte Portugal as a Consultant in FS Apps from September 2016 to March 2018, and as an Analyst in Financial Systems Industry - Technology Integration from September 2015 to August 2016. Fábio also has experience as the Main Game Developer for Project Witchery from June 2013 to August 2013, and as a Collaborator for NEIIST - Núcleo Estudantil de Informática do Instituto Superior Técnico from February 2012 to June 2013. Additionally, they worked as the Co-Founder of HackerSchool from May 2012 to April 2013, and as a Collaborator for FCCN from April 2011 to April 2013.

Fábio Alves obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, where they attended from 2008 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering at the same institution, from 2012 to 2016.

Additionally, Fábio Alves has received several certifications. In November 2019, they completed the Objective-C Essential Training program offered by LinkedIn. In June 2017, they obtained certifications in Advanced Styling with Responsive Design, Interactivity with JavaScript, Introduction to CSS3, and Introduction to HTML5 from Coursera. In February 2016, Fábio Alves received the Guidewire ClaimCenter 8.0 Functional Certification Exam from Guidewire Software. Prior to that, in November 2015, they obtained certifications in Guidewire Platform 8.0 Fundamentals - Prerequisite and Guidewire PolicyCenter 8.0 Configuration - Specialist from Guidewire Software. In addition, Fábio Alves also attained the An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python certification from Coursera in November 2014 and the Creative, Serious and Playful Science of Android Apps certification from Coursera in February 2014.
