Gilberto Medeiros

Gilberto Medeiros has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Gilberto started their career as a Programmer at E-Works Studio in 2004, where they worked until 2005. Gilberto then joined RTS Real Time Solutions as their CTO from 2005 to 2010. At RTS, they held a leadership position and contributed to the technological advancement of the company.

In 2010, Gilberto joined Miniclip, where they have held various roles over the years. Gilberto started as a Software Developer and later became a Technical Lead, responsible for line management, mentorship, and decision-making support for the developers. Gilberto actively worked on improving development processes and increasing the quality of the end product.

In 2014, Gilberto was promoted to the position of Senior Development Lead at Miniclip. In this role, they led six development teams comprising approximately 80 developers. Gilberto'sfocus was on the development strategy and culture of the client development team, including mobile and web client development as well as technology teams.

Currently, Gilberto is serving as the Development Director at Miniclip's Portugal studio. In this position, they oversee the engineering and operational management of all games developed in the studio. Gilberto manages resources, prioritization, and alignment for the teams involved in the development process, totaling around 130 people.

Gilberto Medeiros pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. From 1999 to 2004, they attended Instituto Superior Técnico, where they obtained both a degree in Engineering and a Licentiate degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in 2002-2003, they had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, further expanding their knowledge in Computer Science.
