Mariana Veiga Henriques

Mariana Veiga Henriques has extensive work experience in the field of data analysis and management. Mariana started their career in 2019 at Miniclip as a Junior Data Analyst, where they conducted research on player behavior and worked on developing new game features. Mariana also collaborated with Product Managers and Game Designers to identify strategic questions and metrics.

In 2020, Mariana was promoted to the role of Data Analyst I at Miniclip. In this role, they focused on developing an internal Data Validation tech product and evaluating the performance of game features through AB tests and ad hoc analysis. Mariana also worked closely with game producers and designers to identify new opportunities.

In 2021, Mariana further advanced their career at Miniclip as a Data Analyst II. Here, they created standardized processes to streamline data definition and facilitate AdHoc analysis development. Mariana also maintained and developed internal R packages and collaborated with Product Managers to identify key strategic questions and tests.

Currently, Mariana is serving as the Data Analyst Manager at Miniclip, a position they have held since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for defining and implementing team objectives that align with the broader business goals. Mariana has also been involved in hiring, onboarding, and coaching analysts internally, as well as integrating newly acquired studios into the company's data infrastructure.

Outside of their role at Miniclip, Mariana has also worked as an Invited Professor at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa since March 2022. Mariana teaches a module on Game Analytics for students pursuing a Masters's degree in Game Design and Playable Media. Additionally, they have planned and developed a partnership program between Miniclip and Lusófona University to expose students to the gaming working environment.

Prior to their work at Miniclip and Universidade Lusófona, Mariana gained experience as an IT Consultant at PRIME IT CONSULTING and WeDo Technologies in 2018. Mariana also worked as a Zumba Instructor at Ginásio Getfit from 2016 to 2018 and Solinca Health & Fitness from 2017 to 2018. In 2016, they interned at Mercer.

Additionally, Mariana has obtained certifications in Spanish at level A1 from COMPETIR - Formação e Serviços, SA in July 2017, and in Zumba Basic 1 from Zumba in September 2016.
