Evelyn Lim

Evelyn Lim has a diverse work experience in various industries. Evelyn started their career as a Nail Technician at Jung's Nail in 2001 and worked there until 2008. From 2008 to 2015, they worked as a Funeral Director at Fook Funeral Group LLC., where they were responsible for a range of tasks including embalming, restoration, and arranging funeral services. In 2015, they joined Paintbox as an Artist for a few months before being promoted to Lead Artist in 2016. In 2017, they took on the role of Chief Educator at Paintbox. In 2020, Evelyn joined Byrdie as a Nail Expert, serving on the Review Board. Most recently, in 2022, they started working at MiniLuxe as the Nail Art Education Director.

Evelyn Lim has a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from John Jay College (CUNY), which they completed in 2016. In the same year, they also completed a fieldwork program at ArchaeoTek - Archaeological Techniques and Research Center, focusing on Adult Human Osteology and Biological/Physical Anthropology. Prior to that, Evelyn obtained an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science from Amercian Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Services in 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a BARBICIDE® COVID-19 Certification from King Research in 2020, and they have been licensed as a NYS Funeral Director since 2008 and a NYS Nail Technician since 2001.
