Helen Tinney

Helen Tinney is an experienced leader in vocational education and training, currently serving as Executive Director of Training Products & Implementation at Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance since April 2022. Prior to this role, Helen held the position of Director of Vocational Education & Training at Melbourne Polytechnic from October 2019 to April 2022 and served as General Manager of Chisholm Online from July 2018 to September 2019. Helen's extensive experience at TAFE NSW from December 2004 to April 2018 included various leadership roles such as Director of the Business Capability Unit and Manager of Education Programs. Helen holds a Master's Degree in Leadership and Management in Education from the University of Newcastle, a Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Education & Training from Charles Sturt University, and is currently pursuing the GAICD qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
