Kristian Rough

Kristian Rough currently serves as the Executive Director of Operations at the Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance, an Australian Government Jobs and Skills Council, since September 2023. Prior experience includes various leadership roles within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, from May 2018 to August 2023, culminating as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Policy and Strategy. Kristian has also held positions as Ministerial Policy Adviser for Criminal Justice and Corrections, and as a Lawyer/Senior Adviser with the Australian Federal Police. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Management, a Master’s Degree in Law and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University, alongside other relevant degrees and legal admissions.
