Core Functions of the Role:

• Mineral resource estimation and reporting across a range of commodities and deposit types
• Exploration & resource definition drilling programme design and optimisation
• Mine geology operational supporting areas such as reconciliation
• Due diligence reviews
• Acting as CP/QP for mineral resource estimates to CRIRSCO standards (eg. JORC/NI 43-101)
• Exploration programme design, planning and management
• Peer review, training, and mentoring of other Geologists within the EMEA team
• Business development and client relationship building
• Assisting with mining studies where required
• Proposal generation and project management

About you

• You are a skilled professional who takes pride in your ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively on complex projects within a team environment
• You have experience working across a range of commodities, mineralisation styles, and geological settings, and can act as a CP/QP for CRIRSCO compliant reporting
• You are comfortable training and mentoring junior staff members in all aspects of the resource estimation process
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated ability to grow strong relationships within a team, with clients, and within our industry
• You display great time management and problem-solving skills and are competent in the use of geological software such as Datamine, Vulcan, or Leapfrog
• Previous operational experience in a mining or exploration environment is highly regarded
• You hold the entitlement to live and work in the UK
