Ming Xia

Ming Xia is a Senior Mining Consultant at Mining Plus, beginning in February 2024, with extensive experience in the mining sector. Previously, Ming served as a Senior Production Engineer at Westgold Resources Limited and a Senior Mining Engineer at BHP within a short timeframe in 2023. Prior roles include significant contributions to OZ Minerals as both a Senior Production Engineer and Senior Ventilation Engineer, as well as positions at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation, where Ming worked as a Drilling and Blasting Engineer and Ventilation Engineer. Ming also gained project management experience as a Project Engineer at Leighton Contractors and started as a Graduate Mining Engineer at HWE Mining. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma of Mining from Curtin University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
