Kaan Kabalak

Kaan Kabalak has had a diverse work experience since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Intern for Organik Kimya, where they localized the Key Performance Indicator tracking software to English. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern for BOTAS, where they designed a cathodic protection measurement circuit that measures current and voltage values periodically and records them on an SD/MMC card, and implemented the embedded software for the chip of the circuit using C. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern for GAMA Industry, where they reviewed and checked the general electrical works and the single line diagrams of an Oil Terminal Deep Water Berth project, and examined the electrical works of the guard house of the ongoing construction of a 4x350MW Power Plant. In 2016, they worked as a Summer Intern for Aselsan, where they developed a simulator which mimics the behavior of the pilot's helmet and the turret of a helicopter as part of the military helicopter modernization project, and created a user interface for the simulator with LabWindows/CVI's user interface editor. In 2017, they worked as a Front-End Developer Intern for AgilOne, where they created a card view in AngularJS for list-based components on the company's web platform, handled issues regarding the UI/UX of the company’s web and configuration platform, and wrote unit tests in Jasmine to ensure that the initialization process of the controllers and services were done correctly. Kaan also worked as a Software Engineer for MinIO, where they were involved in building the front-end of the company’s support platform from the ground up using React, Redux and Twilio Programmable Chat API in coordination with designers, and contributed to the refactor of the company’s open source object storage browser by following React and Redux best practices. Kaan also attended Coding Dojo, an immersive coding bootcamp where they spent more than 1000 hours learning Python/Django, MEAN (MongoDB, Express. js, Angular, Node).

Kaan Kabalak obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University between 2012 and 2017.
