Álvaro Pereda Arce is a professional with extensive experience in telecommunications, industrial engineering, and automation. Currently serving as Coordinador de Área at the Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transformación Digital since March 2022, Álvaro is involved in the Gabinete de la Secretaría de Estado de Telecomunicaciones e Infraestructuras Digitales and PERTE Chip initiatives. Previously, Álvaro held roles at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, where responsibilities included overseeing Vehicle Regulation and Type Approval as Head of Service. Álvaro's background also includes significant experience as a team coordinator at Tecnatom, managing robotic systems for the aeronautics sector, and as a process engineer with Grupo Antolin, where Álvaro coordinated the fabrication process for rear seats for the Mercedes-Benz Class-V 2014. Academically, Álvaro holds a Postdegree in Automation & Robotics and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from prestigious institutions, including Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Technische Universität Berlin.
