Elizabeth Lico

Elizabeth Lico is a dedicated social work intern at the Venezuelan Alliance for Community Support, where responsibilities include providing bilingual and trauma-informed counseling for Latine immigrants and asylum seekers. Concurrently, Elizabeth serves as an HR Research Coordinator at Veterinary United, focusing on recruitment and diversity initiatives. As an Auxiliar de Conversación with the Ministerio de Educación in Spain, Elizabeth educates students in English language and culture. Previous experiences include research assistance and leadership roles at Michigan State University, where Elizabeth coordinated programs aimed at enhancing diversity and inclusion. Elizabeth holds a BA in Social Relations and Policy and International Relations from Michigan State University and is pursuing a Master of Social Work at Columbia University.
