Miguel Ángel Ortiz Rosales

Miguel Ángel Ortiz Rosales is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the regulatory and biomedical fields. Currently serving as Consejero Técnico and Jefe de servicio at the Ministerio de Sanidad since October 2021, Miguel Ángel has a strong background in international relations and publications. Previous roles include Technical Specialist at the Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios, where expertise in national and European pharmaceutical legislation, particularly regarding allergens, was developed. Additionally, Miguel Ángel contributed as a member of the MAB Working Party of the European Pharmacopoeia at the Council of Europe and held academic positions at Hospital Clínico San Carlos, including a predoctoral student and resident in Immunology. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics and various degrees in Biology and Social and Cultural Anthropology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
