Intern At The Permanent Mission Of Finland In Geneva at Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland

Susanna Kerttula currently serves as an intern at the Permanent Mission of Finland in Geneva under the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, a position held since September 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Optical Assistant at Instru Optiikka Oy from September 2022 to August 2024, and serving as a Research Assistant at The University of Edinburgh, where Susanna focused on Finnish external border control law and policy in relation to EU regulations. Earlier contributions include volunteering with Europa macht Schule e.V. in Göttingen and fundraising for Amnesty International. Susanna Kerttula holds a Master of International and Comparative Law with a focus on Global Governance Law from the University of Helsinki, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol, complemented by an Erasmus+ year at The University of Göttingen.
