Kristen Edwards

Kristen Edwards is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Internal Communications Adviser at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) since April 2022, where responsibility includes delivering internal communications and building relationships across the organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Communications Advisor at Medicines New Zealand, advocating for improved access to modern medicines and managing both internal and external communications. Kristen's career began as a Marketing Assistant at Victoria University of Wellington, engaging in various marketing tasks. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Communication in Marketing and Linguistics from Massey University and recent completion of two Unit Standards in New Zealand’s Coordinated Incident Management System at Te Pūkenga.
