Sean Scanlon

Sean Scanlon's work experience includes serving as a Journalist, sub-editor, news editor, and chief news director for various publications from 2000 to 2017. Sean then transitioned to become a Senior Ministerial Adviser at the New Zealand Parliament from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Sean holds the position of Director of Communications at the Ministry for Primary Industries since 2020.

Sean Scanlon earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Journalism and Communication from the University of Canterbury from 2012 to 2014.
