Patrick Kirongo

Patrick Kirongo currently serves as a National Technical Working Group Member at COMESA Secretariat, contributing to the COMESA-AGRA MRA Project aimed at enhancing regional agricultural commodity trade. In addition, Patrick holds the position of Project Officer, overseeing the RECAMP project implementation in Uganda, which focuses on improving market access for fresh fruits and vegetables. With extensive experience in the field of agriculture, Patrick has worked as an Agriculture Inspector at the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, and previously held roles at Alliance One and British American Tobacco. Patrick’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University and a Certificate in Advanced Leadership Programme for Africa's Food Security and Sustainability from the African Management Institute.
