Cara Keogh

Cara Keogh has extensive experience in finance and strategic management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Service Excellence at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since March 2020, Cara has held multiple leadership roles, including Manager of Strategic Transformation and Strategic Finance Partnering Lead. Prior experience includes working as a Business Partner at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children and as a Manager in Risk Consulting at PwC New Zealand, where support was provided to the public sector. Additionally, Cara held the position of Interim Regional Manager at Monitor and served as Head of Finance at the Lessons for Life Foundation, contributing to financial performance and capacity improvements. Earlier career experiences include roles at KPMG New Zealand, where business advisory services were provided to a diverse client base. Cara holds Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting and Commercial Law, as well as German Language and Literature from Victoria University of Wellington.
