Paul Metcalf

Paul Metcalf currently serves as the Manager of Board Appointments and Governance at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since October 2019. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Manager for Strategy, Performance and Governance at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in New Zealand from January 2017 to October 2019, focusing on organisational strategy and risk management. From May 2013 to December 2016, Paul was the Strategy and Risk Manager at the Environmental Protection Authority, overseeing various aspects of organisational performance and accountability. Additional experience includes roles as Manager of Resources at the NZ Ministry for the Environment, Senior Policy Analyst at Auckland Regional Council, and Group Manager of Environmental Programmes at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
