Ahmed al-Kuwari

Ahmed Al-Kuwari's work experience includes serving as the Director of Information Technology at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Qatar Gas Transport Company (NAKILAT) from 2013 to 2023, where they held the position of Head of Business Applications. In this role, they successfully led and delivered various implementation projects and enhancements of ERP systems and other applications, providing guidance and direction for the IT Applications group. Prior to joining NAKILAT, Ahmed held various roles at QEWC - Qatar Electricity and Water CO., including Senior Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Application Developer, and IT Support Engineer, where they gained experience in managing IT applications, providing post-production support, and supporting clients' needs.

Ahmed Al-Kuwari completed their education at several institutions. From 2003 to 2006, they attended the College of the North Atlantic - Qatar, where they earned a diploma in Computer Support Specialist. Later, from 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at Colorado State University. Continuing their education, Ahmed plans to enroll in the Leadership Program at Georgetown University in Qatar from 2022 to 2023.
