Merike Koppel

Merike Koppel has a strong background in law and business environment. Merike is currently serving as the Head of Business Environment at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications for Estonia since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Legal Advisor of Trade and Services Division at the same ministry from September 2020 to November 2021. Before joining the ministry, Merike worked as a Lawyer at the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry from March 2018 to September 2020. Merike also gained valuable experience as a Lawyer at Swedbank, where they worked from June 2008 to March 2018.

From 2012 to 2014, Merike Koppel attended Tallinn University of Technology and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree. The field of study for their degree is not specified.
