Dr. Fatima al-Buenain

Dr. Fatima Al-Buenain serves as the First Special Needs Education Supervision Expert and Director of Roua Assessment, Advice and Support Center at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Qatar since June 2015. In addition, Dr. Al-Buenain holds the position of Head of the Gifted and Talented Section. Previous experience includes serving as a Professional Development Specialist at Roua Assessment, Advice and Support Center from June 2015 to March 2017, and working as the Early Childhood Education Coordinator at Alwafa Model School for Boys from August 2012 to May 2015. Dr. Al-Buenain also served as an Arabic Language Teacher and Coordinator at Alwakrah Secondary School for Girls from August 2005 to July 2011. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Global Executive Doctor of Education from USC Rossier School of Education (June 2019 - August 2023), a Master of Education in Special Needs Education from Qatar University (August 2020 - August 2022), a Master of Education in Education Leadership from Qatar University (August 2012 - July 2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Qatar University (August 1994 - September 1999).
