Damir Solak

Damir Solak serves as a Zastupitel for the Úřad městské části Brno-střed since November 2022, holding the position of Místopředseda in the legislative and organizational commission and participating in various committees related to culture, tourism, and public safety. Since November 2020, Damir has been the Místopředseda of the Studentská komora Rady vysokých škol, representing students of the second largest Czech university and focusing on legislative affairs. Additionally, Damir functions as a program evaluator for the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education since April 2019, and has worked as a translator and interpreter for the Ministerstvo spravedlnosti České republiky since June 2014. Other roles include a lawyer for the Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy and a member of the Governing Board of the European Students' Union from February 2022 to January 2023. Academic qualifications comprise a PhD in Law from Masaryk University Brno, ongoing studies commenced in September 2021, and a Master's degree in Law obtained in September 2021.
