Dr. Omar Alharbi

Dr. Omar Alharbi serves as a Senior Innovation Advisor at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, holding multiple roles since November 2018, including membership on the ISO technical committee for innovation management and contributing to the development of national innovation management system standards. With extensive experience, Dr. Alharbi leads projects in Industry 4.0 and innovation systems at the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources. Dr. Alharbi's educational background includes a PhD in Innovation Management from Swansea University, an MBA from the University of Southampton Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Abdulaziz University, along with certifications as a Chief Innovation Officer and Authorized Innovation Assessor from the Global Innovation Institute.
