Filip Vanden Bulcke

Filip Vanden Bulcke has extensive diplomatic experience with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium, serving as Consul General in New York and as Ambassador to Jordan and Iraq. Additional roles have included Diplomatic Advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and Counsellor in the EU Delegation to the UN, with a secondment to the European External Action Service. Previous positions within the ministry encompass Deputy Head of Eastern Europe Department, Counsellor at the Permanent Representation to the UN, First Secretary at the Embassy in Turkey, and Second Secretary at the Embassy in Morocco, along with beginning a career as a Trainee Diplomat. Prior to these roles, Vanden Bulcke was an Associate at Van Bael & Bellis. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and International Business Law from the University of London and a Law degree from KU Leuven.
