Hans Christian Nielsen

Hans Christian Nielsen is an experienced operations manager currently serving as the Head of Administration & HR at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark since August 2020. Prior to this role, Hans was a self-employed management, project, and organisational consultant from December 2017 to August 2020, focusing on management consulting in various areas including project management and public administration. Hans has extensive experience within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, previously holding positions such as Adviser in consular and political affairs, Deputy Head of the Visa & Consular Section, and participated in a political affairs trainee program. Earlier career highlights include managerial roles in the travel sector and military service with UN peacekeeping training. Hans holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and International Development Studies, along with a Bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from Roskilde University.
