Jonas Bering Liisberg

Jonas Bering Liisberg is an accomplished diplomat and legal expert with extensive experience in various roles within the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Udenrigsministeriet) since 1995. Currently serving as State Secretary for European and Arctic Affairs, Ambassador, Liisberg has held multiple prestigious positions, including Special Advisor on China Policy and Permanent Representative to the EU. Previous roles include Director General at Folketingets Ombudsmand and various legal and diplomatic positions within Udenrigsministeriet and other governmental departments. Liisberg holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from both Harvard Law School and the University of Copenhagen, underscoring a strong academic foundation in law.
