Alvar Soosaar

Alvar Soosaar is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Managing Partner at Fjond and Co-Founder and Senior Advisor at G3 Partners, both roles initiated in early 2024. Soosaar has extensive experience in facilitating investment and trade between North America and Estonia, currently holding the position of Director of US Investment and Trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and the Embassy of Estonia in Washington since September 2020. Additionally, Soosaar has a diverse investment background, having been Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Vinland Ventures since 2015, and previously holding leadership roles at Argeld, OxonCapital, FIC Network, EstateGuru Ltd., and RAIT Financial Trust. Educational accomplishments include an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
