Anneli Veisson

Anneli Veisson is an experienced diplomat currently serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia in the Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Division since August 2021, focusing on bilateral cooperation projects with Africa, digital and green transition, and health initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as a health attaché at the Permanent Mission of Estonia to the UN in Geneva (August 2018 - August 2021), addressing disarmament, WHO, and ILO matters, while also covering the Estonian EU presidency at the same mission in 2017. With a professional background in political affairs covering bilateral relations with multiple countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2007 to 2016, Anneli has also contributed to academia as a guest lecturer and research assistant at Tallinn University. Anneli is currently pursuing a PhD in Occupational Health Psychology at Tallinn University, building on a solid educational foundation in psychology from various institutions.
