Ahmed Alzahrani, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Ahmed began their career in 2005 at the Ministry of Interior - KSA as an Information Technology Officer, where they worked until 2015. In 2017, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Claremont Graduate University. In 2020, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at California State University-Long Beach - College of Business. That same year, they joined the University of Jeddah as an Assistant Professor, Vice Dean for Development at the Deanship of Admission & Registration, and later as Vice Dean of the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
Currently, Ahmed is employed at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as the Senior Consultant of the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Center. Ahmed will assume the role of Director of the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Center in May 2023.
Ahmed Alzahrani, Ph.D., holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from King AbdulAziz University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Ahmed then pursued a High Diploma in Security Science from King Fahd Security College, Ministry of Interior, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2005 to 2006. Ahmed Alzahrani further enhanced their education by completing a Master's degree in Computer Science from California Lutheran University in 2012, followed by a Post MBA certificate in IT from the same university in 2013. Ahmed continued their academic journey at Claremont Graduate University, where they earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technology from 2015 to 2019.
